Starcraft for the Weekend (8th – 10th June)

It is set to be real busy this weekend for the Starcraft 2 & eSports calendar.

We have got Major League Gaming’s Spring Championship in Anaheim which will be showcasing the very finest of Starcraft talent for a share of the $76,000 prize pool. Will we see the Korean’s dominate again, or will we see a great showing of force from the foreigners?

As well as the SC2 professionals there will be eight of the very best from the Brood Wars KeSPA scene playing against each other in their very own showcase. From the likes of Flash, Bisu and Jaedong all making an appearance there will surely be some great action. I am certain a lot of eyes will be on these guys waiting to see if they have what it takes to take on the SC2 pros at later dates!

In addition to the great games we will see at Anaheim, there are also the 200 stations set up that have the Heart of the Swarm beta loaded for attendees to try their hand at! With new units and campaign, I am sure the lucky few who get hands on previews will be in for a treat!
